Pak Suzuki firmly believes that our youth is future of Pakistan, for which Academic and Technical education is essential. To support this obligation, Pak Suzuki is providing Training and Equipment to Technical Schools and Rebuilding/ Renovation of Schools in under privilege areas.

Safe Driving Techniques Awareness Session - 2018

Under CSR Program, a Driving Awareness Session about “SAFE DRIVING TECHNIQUES” has been conducted in the company for Car Carriers’ Owner, Managers, Supervisors and Drivers in coordination with Marketing & Sales Division, on Friday 26th October, 2018. The purpose of the session was to enhance the Safety Level of Car Carrier Team to ensure their safe journey. During the session, Head Corporate Planning Department educated the supervisors and drivers about Safe Driving Techniques, Highway Driving Rules and Tips for Maintenance of Vehicles; the awareness session also comprised of pictorial/video demonstration about Driving Signs and Techniques, Accidents and their Precautions. In closing ceremony, Mr. Rashid Hameed Khan, urged participants to get the utmost benefit of the awareness session and practically implement the learnings during driving vehicles. In the end, Mr. Rashid Hameed Khan, Divisional Head Sales and Mr. Amir Nasir Gul, Departmental Head Distribution & Logistics presented Certificate and Gift to participants. Total 23 participants attended the awareness session.


Donation of Suzuki Ravi Pickup Moving Library - 2018

Pak Suzuki has donated a SUZUKI RAVI PICKUP as a Mobile Library on 13th & 14th September to Joint Committee of Ghulkin & Passu working in these villages of Hunza, Gilgit Biltistan; Hath Hath Japanese NPO has also contributed by providing more than 3000 books (ranging from nursery to graduation level). The donated Mobile Library will move around Government & Community Schools and other education institutions located in Gilgit Biltistan (Passu, Ghulkin & other Villages). The concept behind Moving Library is to develop and enhance the book reading interest and facilitate students as well as others to fulfil their need by availability of books at their door step. Head Corporate Planning on behalf of Pak Suzuki Management, presented the vehicle documents and key to Ms. Mezenokemo, Head of Hath Hath Japanese NPO and Ms. Hajat Bibi, representative of local community.


Health, Safety & Environment Awareness Session-2018

Under CSR program, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Awareness Session was conducted on 13th July, 2018 for children / brothers & sisters of our company employees. During the session, CMO enlightened on Health related issues, Head Plant Safety informed about importance of knowing safety & security issues, while in remaining portion, Head CP informed about tips to stay healthy and safe & secure during day to day activities. Total 37 participants attended the session; plant visit was also arranged for the participants. In the closing ceremony, participants were awarded with certificates of participation and gift.


NED Scholarship Awarding Ceremony - 2018

Sixth NED Scholarship awarding ceremony under CSR held on 16th May, 2018 NED University of Engineering & Technology, objective of this program is to provide financial assistance to needy and competent students to support them in achieving their Educational and Career goals. Mr. Masafumi Harano, MD & CEO in his speech said that Pak Suzuki has been continuously progressing for the development of society through its “Education Support Program”, as we believe that “Education is the fundamental right of everyone and no one should be left without education due to financial constraints”. He further said that Pak Suzuki has not only made efforts in providing better opportunities of good education for needy students but also offers a fair and equal chance of job opportunities for all. MD san further enlighten that collectively 34 scholarship awardees of first and second batches have become Engineers and 6 awardees of third batch will become Engineer this year, under Pak Suzuki CSR “NED Scholarship Program”. Total 14 Students (6 for Batch 2015 and 8 for Batch 2016) have been qualified for Scholarship this year; MD San awarded the Scholarship Cheques among Students. EO-Supply Chain Function, EO-Finance & EO-Operations were also present in the ceremony. In the end, Dr. Sarosh Hashmat Lodi, Vice Chancellor (VC) of NED University, presented a souvenir to Mr. Masafumi Harano, MD & CEO Pak Suzuki Motor Company.


Higher Secondary Certificate Scholarship Ceremony - 2018

Pak Suzuki started Higher Secondary Certificate Scholarship Program in 2014. The aim is to generate a competition among students and encourage brilliant ones and also, nobody should be left without education due to financial constraints. In this regard, a ceremony was held on Monday 23rd April, 2018, in which MD & CEO Pak Suzuki, Mr. Masafumi Harano distributed HSC Scholarships for 2017 among 64 selected students of Government schools, Colleges and Universities (including Pak Suzuki employee’s Children). MD & CEO Pak Suzuki, Mr. Masafumi Harano during his speech said that this is our humble contribution towards educating and developing nation for “Prosperous Pakistan” because education has the power to transform lives and it creates a lasting impact on the lives of students, their families and their communities today and for the generations to come; he also motivated scholarship awardees to keep their focus on their studies and work hard to educate themselves. Government Higher Secondary School and Colleges Principals and CSR Managing Committee Members also attended the ceremony. Plant visit, Kaizen and 5S training sessions were also arranged for the HSC scholarship awardees.


Functionalizing Library in Government School Haji Natho - 2018

Library plays a very important role in promoting the progress of knowledge, so under CSR, Pak Suzuki has functionalized a Library in Government Boys & Girls Higher Secondary School Haji Natho by donating racks, books (of different subjects & classes), chairs and tables have been donated to School Management. At present, more than 1500 students enrolled in the School from Grade 1 to Grade 12. Basic purposes to develop a Library in the School are as follows: - To improve the reading and writing skills of School students of primary, secondary and higher secondary education, - To provide a platform for School students to gain new knowledge, and dispositions for learning and personal development that they will use for their education and also throughout their lives, Inauguration Ceremony held on 16th March; Executive Officer (Supply Chain), Mr. Ghulam Farooq in his speech enlighten the importance of education and emphasized upon the significance of enhancing the spectrum of knowledge for personality development to be ahead in modern era; students and he further shared that Pak Suzuki has also been upgrading nearby Government Schools to create better opportunities for learning and education for local community and will continue this support in future also. Head Production Engineering with other company officials were also present in the Ceremony.
