Higher Secondary Certificate Scholarship Ceremony-2019
Pak Suzuki initiated Higher Secondary Certificate Scholarship Program in 2014. The aim is to generate a competition among students and encourage brilliant ones and also, nobody should be left without education due to financial constraints. In this regard, a ceremony was held on Friday 29th March, 2019, in which Mr. Masafumi Harano, MD & CEO Pak Suzuki distributed HSC Scholarships for 2018 among 81 selected students of nearby Government schools, Colleges and Universities (including Pak Suzuki employee’s Children. Mr. Masafumi Harano, MD & CEO Pak Suzuki during his speech said that “Education does not only helps to develop a personality but it also plays a great role in shaping future and professional career; It also conquer new things for the betterment of whole mankind”. He also motivated scholarship awardees to keep their focus on their studies and work hard to educate themselves. Mr. Mushtaq Ahmed Memon, District Education Officer (Bin Qasim Town) along with Principals’ of Govt. Higher Secondary Schools, Colleges and CSR Managing Committee Members also attended the ceremony. Plant visit, Kaizen and 5S training sessions were also arranged for the HSC scholarship awardees.
Safe Driving Techniques Awareness Session - 2019
Under CSR Program, a Driving Awareness Session about “SAFE DRIVING TECHNIQUES” has been conducted in the company for Car Carriers’ Owner, Managers, Supervisors and Drivers in coordination with Marketing & Sales Division, on Friday 1st March, 2019. The purpose of the session was to enhance the Safety Level of Car Carrier Team to ensure their safe journey. During the session, Head Corporate Planning Department educated the participants about Safe Driving Techniques, Highway Driving Rules and Tips for Maintenance of Vehicles; the awareness session also comprised of pictorial/video demonstration about Driving Signs and Techniques, Accidents and their Precautions. In the end, Mr. Rashid Hameed Khan, Divisional Head Sales and Mr. Amir Nasir Gul, Departmental Head Distribution & Logistics also joined the session. Total 30 participants attended the awareness session; gifts were also presented to them.
Donation to TEVTA Bahawalpur
In order to facilitate Vocational Training Program for Juvenile Imprisoned Trainees, Pak Suzuki Motors under CSR donated Water Dispenser and Safety Items (i.e. Safety gloves, shoes, helmets, coverall, first aid boxes with medicines and fire extinguisher, etc.) to Government Technical Education & Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA), Central Jail, Bahawalpur, Punjab. Executive Officer-Supply Chain Function expressed his gratitude to be alongside with TEVTA Bahawalpur and Borstal Jail Authorities in fulfilling the aim to serve society by transforming students into a useful Human Resource and directing their lives in right direction; he wished students best of luck for their bright future. Donation Ceremony took place in Bahawalpur on Thursday 31st January, 2019 in which Officials from Pak Suzuki Company including Area Office Multan, Jail officials and others were present.

During the session, Head Corporate Planning Department educated the supervisors and drivers about Safe Driving Techniques, Highway Driving Rules and Tips for Maintenance of Vehicles; the awareness session also comprised of pictorial/video demonstration about Driving Signs and Techniques, Accidents and their Precautions. In closing ceremony, Mr. Rashid Hameed Khan, urged participants to get the utmost benefit of the awareness session and practically implement the learnings during driving vehicles. In the end, Mr. Rashid Hameed Khan, Divisional Head Sales and Mr. Amir Nasir Gul, Departmental Head Distribution & Logistics presented Certificate and Gift to participants. Total 23 participants attended the awareness session.
Lower Secondary Scholarship
Under CSR, Pak Suzuki initiated Lower Secondary Scholarship Program in 2017 to support the local community. The Idea is to motivate and encourage the needy and talented students to keep continue their education, which empower them to achieve their dreams and lead to become a successful person and dedicated citizen of country. In this regard, Second Lower Secondary Scholarship awarding ceremony held on 30th January, 2019; Mr. Masafumi Harano, MD & CEO distributed 86 Scholarships among Grade 6 & 7 Students, selected from Government Schools. While addressing on the occasion, MD san applauded all the awardees and said that this scholarship is a foundation to build your dreams comes true and expressed a hope to students to work hard and continue their education and wish them best of luck for their future. Mr. Mushtaq Ali Memon, District Education Officer (Bin Qasim Town) along with Pak Suzuki Senior Officials, Government School’s Principals and Teachers also attended the ceremony.
Donation of Suzuki Ravi Pickup Moving Library - 2018
Pak Suzuki has donated a SUZUKI RAVI PICKUP as a Mobile Library on 13th & 14th September to Joint Committee of Ghulkin & Passu working in these villages of Hunza, Gilgit Biltistan; Hath Hath Japanese NPO has also contributed by providing more than 3000 books (ranging from nursery to graduation level). The donated Mobile Library will move around Government & Community Schools and other education institutions located in Gilgit Biltistan (Passu, Ghulkin & other Villages). The concept behind Moving Library is to develop and enhance the book reading interest and facilitate students as well as others to fulfil their need by availability of books at their door step. Head Corporate Planning on behalf of Pak Suzuki Management, presented the vehicle documents and key to Ms. Mezenokemo, Head of Hath Hath Japanese NPO and Ms. Hajat Bibi, representative of local community.
